I am a linguist with a specialisation in the description of previously un- or under-documented languages. My dissertation on language isolate Bangime was the first complete description of the language. My career as a linguist was precipitated by two stints of U.S. Peace Corps service in Mali where I served as a Natural Resources Management volunteer. My husband and I recently purchased a parcel of land in Southwestern Senegal where we are building the region’s first Farm-to-Table Restaurant. Feel free to read more about me here or contact me via ahantgan AT gmail DOT com.
